Diodes - Rectifiers - Arrays are one of the most popular electrical components in the world, with their ability to convert energy from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) and vice-versa. HFA160MD40C is a diode/rectifier array with 40 diodes. The working of HFA160MD40C is quite simple; the device works by allowing current to flow from anode (positive) to cathode (negative) and while current flow in this direction, the voltage drop is low. But when electricity flows in the opposite direction, the high reverse voltage impedes the flow of electricity and only small current is able to flow in this direction. This helps to reduce the high voltage and protects the electronical components.
