The dielectric material of HZC226M050D16T-F is a layer of conductive wetting materials sandwiched between two aluminum or aluminum-coated layers, forming a capacitor element with an anode, a cathode and a wetting layer in between. When a voltage is applied, the material interacts with the electrodes to form a charge on both sides, thus creating an electric field between them. This electric field creates an electric dipole and stores energy.
