DC/DC converters take energy from a DC supply or other DC source and convert it to a different DC voltage with better parameters, providing better regulation for the output power. Such converters are used in products and applications such as computer motherboards, power supplies for consumer electronics, automotive and industrial components, and many others. One such type of DC/DC converter is the IAS006ZE-3, which is designed for the wireless communications market.

The IAS006ZE-3 is a three-phase DC/DC buck-boost converter, powered by a 24 VDC input with an adjustable output voltage up to 10 V. The working principle of the IAS006ZE-3 is based on the buck-boost technique. On the other hand, when the input voltage is higher than the target output voltage, the DC/DC converter works as a boost converter, increasing the input voltage to generate a higher output voltage.
