It is comprised of four slices that contain a distributed memory, a slice logic block, an arithmetic logic block, and an input/output block. Slice logic blocks contain flip-flops and combinatorial logic, while arithmetic logic blocks contain shift registers, counters, adders, and multipliers. Input/output blocks contain the user IO pins for connecting to external devices.The board also includes an integrated USB-JTAG interface to program the iCE40 UltraPlus FPGA using the free iCE40 programmer software. It supports a variety of programming languages such as Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog.
