It also provides 192 Kb of single-port and 96 Kb of dual-port embedded ROM, an ultralow power 10-channel 10-bit SAR ADC, 2 SPI, 2 I²C, 12 UART interfaces, and 65 user IO pins.The array is available in a 6mm × 6mm Wafer-level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP).The ICE40UP5K-UWG30ITR provides great support for users at all experience and design levels. Its design environment is easy to integrate with, and supports the development of leading-edge applications requiring secure, low-power FPGA technology. The design environment features Lattice Diamond operating on Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems and includes an in-system programming utility. The package includes an open source software development kit, firmware development tools, automated synthesis and place-and-route software, and an industry-leading, Eclipse-based graphical debugging tool.For applications that require more computing power, the ICE40UP5K-UWG30ITR supports four soft core processors: the 32-bit RISC-V, the 8-bit Atmel AVR, the 16-bit Tensilica LX51 and the 16-bit Tensilica Xtensa LX6. With integrated RISC-V cores, the ICE40UP5K-UWG30ITR can support machine learning algorithms, run embedded software applications and connect to the internet of things. From high end autonomous vehicles to simple battery-powered nodes, RISC-V has proven its foot in embedded applications.Moreover, Lattice offers a comprehensive range of peripherals and embedded cores such as secure memory encryption and secure boot features, as well as a wide range of application-specific IP intellectual property cores.The ICE40UP5K-UWG30ITR ensures power saving design criteria are easily satisfied. It is a key component for projects which utilize extremely small form factors and require a low-power solution.
