ICL3223CP Application Field And Working PrincipleThe ICL3223CP is an integrated circut that is commonly used to convert digital interfaces and signals between two different communication networks or buses. The three drivers are used to convert between two different types of voltage levels, with two dedicated to converting the data between the two communication protocols and one dedicated to providing a power-on-reset signal. The three receivers are used to receive and buffer data from the two different busses or communication protocols. The two transceivers are then used to bridge the communication protocols between the two different communication networks.From a working principle perspective, the ICL3223CP works as follows. When the two communication networks are connected together, the two transceivers receive the data from both networks simultaneously and amplify it before transferring it to the three drivers. This buffered data is then re-converted to the appropriate voltage levels for the two different protocol busses, with each driver associated with one separate bus protocol. The output from the drivers is then sent to the receivers, which process and validate the data before passing it back to the two transceivers for forwarding onto the respective communication networks.
