The ICL7660ACPA is a CMOS-based voltage regulator/converter that internally compensates for both line and load transient conditions. It provides a very high current-to-voltage conversion ratio of up to 100 mA of output current for every one millivolt of input signal. Its special output impedance characteristics make it ideal for use in both low-load and high-load applications. The ICL7660ACPA provides a very low output voltage noise and an extremely wide range of input voltage driving range.

The ICL7660ACPA can regulate the output voltage across a wide range of input voltages ranging from 3 V to 15V. The voltage regulation is accomplished by use of an internal error amplifier.
