The ICM7556MJD is a highly integrated Programmable Timers and Oscillators that meets the needs of a wide variety of applications. It provides precise timing signals with a wide range of on-chip programmable delay times, programmable duty cycles and programmable frequencies that make it suitable for a variety of clock and timing applications.
The ICM7556MJD features an on-chip oscillator that can be programmed to generate timing signal pulses with adjustable frequency and duty cycle. The operating frequency of the oscillator can be set via an external RC network and an on-chip voltage regulator. The output of the oscillator is then connected to a series of programmable delay elements which produce a programmable delay of up to 6 ms.
The ICM7556MJD also features an on-chip phase locked loop (PLL) circuit which further improves the accuracy of the timing signals by phase locking the output of the oscillator to an external reference signal. This enables the ICM7556MJD to produce accurate timing signals with very low jitter and noise.
The ICM7556MJD has a wide range of applications, including but not limited to, industrial automation, automotive and home appliances, medical and military devices, portable electronics, and communications. It can be used to generate clocks, waveforms and timing signals with adjustable frequency and duty cycle for a variety of applications.
