It offers selectable power-saving modes, including low current consumption and adjustable standby power consumption. It also supports a wide temperature range, making it suitable for applications operating in extreme temperatures. The device supports programmable skew outputs and adjustable input and output delays.
The ICS181M-02T uses a phase lock loop (PLL) architecture to achieve its wide range of frequencies and perform its jitter-free operations. A PLL is an electronic circuit which use the input signal provided to generate a stable output signal. The PLL circuit consists of several components, including a reference input, a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and a phase/frequency detector (P/F detector).
