The ICS557G-08 is a clock and timing application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), which offers outstanding performance, reliability and energy efficiency in a small form factor. It is widely used in many applications such as communications, computing, industrial automation, medical, automotive, and military/aerospace. ICS557G-08 integrates cutting-edge technologies to support a variety of clock and timing functions and enables customers to quickly and easily launch their applications.

ICS557G-08 supports both single-ended and differential clock inputs in the range of 0.6V to 6V, with a maximum input impedance of 38 ohms. It also supports an adaptive loop-back mode that can dynamically adjust the input termination to match the input frequency range. The device offers two differential outputs with adjustable output voltage levels, and an open-drain output with configurable threshold voltage. In addition, the device also integrates two high-gain low-phase noise (LPN) fanout buffers with programmable output drive strength.
