The ICS7151M-40T was designed to offer a low jitter, low power, and low cost solution for high frequency clock generation related applications. It features an integrated programmable frequency synthesizer, a variable- frequency oscillator, spread spectrum and jitter cleaner, and an adjustable voltage regulator. The ICS7151M-40T can generate wide range of output frequencies with low jitter for both Clock and Data Recovery and Phase-Locked Loop applications, making it ideal for embedded systems, high performance network and communication applications, and other high frequency, low power digital applications.

The ICS7151M-40T\'s programmable frequency synthesizer can generate frequencies from 0.5 MHz up to 2.5 GHz with resolution of just 0.5 KHz. The output frequency is also tunable and can be adjusted as needed for different applications. To further improve performance it also has a spread spectrum mode that reduces jitter at low frequencies and a jitter cleaner circuit to reduce jitter at wide range of frequencies.
