Features

The IDT23S08E-1DC8 is a highly integrated clock/timing IC which integrates both support and application of multiple frequency synthesis and clock generation. The integrated circuit is designed to meet any stringent requirements for low jitter, high accuracy, excellent performance and reliability. The device supports frequencies from 8 kHz to 800 MHz with excellent performance and clock accuracy of 10-20ppm over the entire operating temperature range. It features low jitter (4ps RMS), low power consumption (~200 mW), soft start ramp-up, phased lock loop (PLL) design, enable/disable input, and an output enable output. It also includes an adjustable reference clock (2.5V-5V) input with a maximum frequency of up to 8 GHz. Other features available on the device include a divider/multiply chain, an integrated Regulator, pre-divide settings, frequency lock detect (FLD) and clock synchronization inputs.

Working Principle
