It is capable of outputting up to20W of DC power to a variety of electrical components.The purpose of the converter is to take low voltage DC input andconvert it into a higher voltage DC output. This is done using apiezoelectric transducer, a device that converts mechanical energyinto electrical energy. The transducer is placed between two setsof electrodes, which alternately expand and contract due to theelectricity flowing through them. The transducer uses thismechanical energy to create an electrical current, which is thenconverted into a higher voltage DC output. The IEU0212D05 is ideal for applications such as medicalequipment, security systems, dimming control, householdappliances, and motor control.
