The IFL04AR line is a metalized and textured polymeric film designed to provide improved absorbent performance from 10MHz to 18GHz. It is comprised of a proprietary blend of proprietary engineered polymers that form an absorber media with high shielding effectiveness across a frequency range typically seen in advanced wireless communication systems. The IFL04AR metalized film functions by providing a high-efficiency electrical boundary between the source of the interference and the receiving antenna. This boundary is formed by the metalized layers on the both sides of the film, acting as an absorbing medium. When electromagnetic waves (EMW) enter the IFL04AR film, it become an inductor and resistor in series. These electrical components will lead the energy of the EMW to a gradual decrease and eventually dissipate and absorb into the absorbing medium.
