The IL255-X007T series optoisolator transistor photovoltaic output, or Transistor Output Photovoltaic Isolators (TOPoI), are designed to provide circuit isolation from signal and power ground. Inside each IL255-X007T package is an infrared LED in a reverse-biased LED module, along with a transistor whose base is connected directly to the LED module. The LED module of these optoisolator photovoltaic output is capable of switching on the collecting transistor when it is exposed to a specific wavelength of light.
