DC–DC converters are essential components of many electronic devices. They convert a direct current (DC) input voltage to a higher or lower DC output voltage. A wide range of DC–DC converters are available for different applications. Among these are the isolated DC–DC converters, which are also known as DC–DC transformer. The IL4824S is an isolated, wide input range, step-down DC–DC converter which provides high efficiency with up to 98.5%.
