With the built-in switch, it can automatically switch between constant voltage and current output modes. Application FieldThe IML0215D12 is capable of taking low input voltage from 3.3V to 24V. It can provide output voltage between 12V and 20V, with a maximum output current up to 2A. It can be used for various applications such as industrial and automotive applications. Working PrincipleThe IML0215D12 works on DC to DC non-isolated boost (step-up) converter topology. It is composed of two main components: a switching regulator IC (Skycom UK0D0500) and an inductor. A power MOSFET is used for the switching control. The pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal generated by the integrated circuit (IC) controls the ON/OFF of the power MOSFET switch to regulate the output voltage. The built-in PWM controller not only controls the rate of variation between the output voltage and the input voltage, but also ensures a safe operation of the driver.
