Working Principle

During the process of sensing, the infrared energy emitted by the infrared radiation source is limited by cut-off filter and receiver lens from the transverse direction. The infrared absorption film of the working gas detects component can absorb infrared radiation whose frequency is same as the target gas. While the gas concentration is high enough, the signal response of the infrared absorber will be changed which triggers the change of the generated current. The detection circuit will receive this current as the input for further process, analyze and recognize the gas concentration, then output corresponding output signal.

Application Fields
