The IRU431LCL3TR voltage reference is part of a family of precision bandgap voltage references available from International Rectifier. It\'s a Micropower, Low-Voltage Reference specifically designed for cost-sensitive, low-voltage applications.

The IRU431LCL3TR can provide 1.4V at 1mA for a power dissipation of just 1.4mW. With its low-power operation, the device can be used in battery-powered instruments, portable instrumentation, and applications which require low voltage and low noise operation. This is a three-terminal precision bandgap reference which requires no external resistors or capacitors, and it can also be used as an Auxillary Single Supply Reference.

The IRU431LCL3TR is a low-power precision bandgap reference with a temperature drift of only 7ppm/°C. It has low output impedance and operates over a voltage range of 2.7V to 6V. The maximum output current is 1mA and the total supply current can be as low as 6µA. The device also includes an output voltage offset of only 20mV and a low thermal hysteresis of 15mV.

The output error for the IRU431LCL3TR is only 100ppm over the entire operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The output voltage is also temperature compensated and can be adjusted from 1.25 to 1.6V with external resistor networks.
