Each chip can store up to 8 microseconds of digitized audio with the maximum sample rate of 4KHz for 24-bit audio.The ISD4003-08MP system provides both record and playback functionality. For recording, it uses a high-performance analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with low noise and distortion characteristics, to capture analog audio signals and store them on the microchip. The system is also capable of performing pitch correction on the recorded audio, allowing higher quality playback with reduced distortion.For playback, the system uses an integrated digital-to-analog converter (DAC) to convert the digital audio signals stored on the microchip into an analog signal suitable for playback on an amplifier or loudspeaker. It is also capable of performing time compression or decompression of the audio to change the playback speed.
