The stored voice samples can then be replayed at either the original sample size or at one-half the original sample size using the 8-bit built-in polyphonic loudspeaker. These modes include external audio source input, from 1 to 36 melody slots and from 1 to 36 optional external memory slots. Additionally, the VQN mode enables users to configure their own soundstage effects, such as background sound, fade-in, fade-out, etc, by providing up to 168 voice effects. All of these functions are operated using a simple three-button interface along with a built-in macro mini-controller.
