Working Principle

The ISL32603EFUZ-T7A consists of four differential receivers (RX1, RX2, RX3 and RX4) and four differential transceivers (TX1, TX2, TX3 and TX4). RX1 and RX4 provide a data path for differential signal input in transmission mode (RX1 is the main input channel and RX4 is the feedback channel). The differential receiver provides a bandwidth of up to 1.25GHz. TX1,TX2,TX3 and TX4 provide a data path for differential signal output in transmission mode. The differential transceiver contains a high-speed driver and provides a bandwidth of up to 1.45GHz across the operating temperature range. The equalization components, such as the loop filter, MPOD, and bias circuitry, help to reduce the effect of ISI, cross talk and jitter when operating at high frequency.

The integrated transceivers and receivers provide a low power solution, with power consumption of only 14 mW in stand-by mode. The device is immune to ESD levels exceeding 8KV and meets the safety requirements according to the IEC61000-4-2 standard. The ISL32603EFUZ-T7A is designed to provide a robust data interface with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
