Working Principle

The ISL59444IBZ-T7 operates in the presence of two power supplies. It has an adjustable common mode range and low distortion on signal input and output. The signal input and output values are independant of the common mode voltage. The signal voltage adopted is amplified and the amplified output is AC coupled with a low-pass filter and gain adjustment potentiometer.

The amplifying system functioning involves a differential input stage coupled to a single ended output stage. Its inverting and non-inverting input features enable it to handle the input signal in a balanced condition. The fixed-gain differential amplifier has capacitors and resistors wherein the resistors can be configured to control the gain. The signal is actively leveled and regulated by a closed loop control of two voltage reference and two transconductance amplifiers. This maintains the linearity at the output over a wide range of input.

The ISL59444IBZ-T7 features a single output for driving with voltages up to 10Vpp without the need of an additional amplifier. The open loop gain and low-frequency 3-dB point can be adjusted by the potentiometer. The current of the OPA211 Operational Amplifier is limited. This enables extremely low distortion at the output.
