The ISL80015ADEMO1Z is an evaluation board that demonstrates the capabilities and performance of the secondary side synchronous rectified buck controllers. ISL80015ADEMO1Z is designed to provide a complete Power-SoC solution for applications that require a wide input voltage range and high output isolation. It is ideal for use in DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS applications. The ISL80015ADEMO1Z is an adjustable, isolated power supply consisting of a buck converter, a MOSFET driver, and a FET switch. It is designed to be used with an isolated power supply input, and the output is regulated with the ISL80015A controller IC. The board features an external voltage sense input, allowing the user to adjust the output voltage from 0.6 to 4V. The input voltage range for the evaluation board is 5.5 to 28V. The ISL80015ADEMO1Z board is designed to enable the evaluation of the ISL80015A primary-side controller IC\'s features and performance. This controller IC is a highly integrated Power-SoC solution which combines an integrated FET driver, voltage reference, current sense, and input & output protection with a 4N32S synchronous rectifying buck converters. The board provides a highly compatible solution for primary-side buck controllers and allows users to observe the controller\'s operation.In operation, the ISL80015ADEMO1Z board uses a buck converter to convert the input voltage to the desired output voltage. The ISL80015A buck-converts the incoming power to regulate the output voltage and current. The output voltage can be adjusted by changing the voltage sense input voltage on the VIN pin. The board also features adjustable soft-start time on the PIN pin, enabling users to adjust the rise time of the output voltage.
