The ISL8002EVAL1Z evaluation board is a top-tier DC/DC and AC/DC off-line switch mode power supply (SMPS) module that offers first-class performance and reliability. The board\'s compact dimensions make it easy to integrate into existing products or designs, and its flexible design also allows it to be used in any type of system.The ISL8002EVAL1Z is a 60W total peak output DC/DC and AC/DC SMPS module, featuring an integrated Boost, SEPIC and Flyback converter, a full complement of control and protection features, and the ability to produce precisely regulated outputs. Its wide input voltage range from 18V to 86V, plus a broad output regulation range and accurate regulation enable it to effectively meet the power supply requirements of a wide variety of applications and systems.The ISL8002EVAL1Z is capable of operating in operating conditions ranging from -40℃ to +85℃. It is also very efficient, with an Efficiency up to 93%, which allows it to reduce power consumption, lower operating costs and improve the reliability of the system.The ISL8002EVAL1Z is a highly integrated, highly efficient, and highly reliable module, which offers superior performance in a wide range of applications. It\'s fast, low-loss, reliable and easy to use, and provides an excellent solution for high-reliability applications.The ISL8002EVAL1Z functions by using a two stage switching topology; the topology is referred to as a “forward-flyback” which consists of a primary buck stage followed by a secondary flyback stage. This two stage approach allows for a higher level of power conversion flexibility and regulation.The main advantages of this type of topology are the wide input voltage range and higher levels of power conversion efficiency, which allows for lesser power losses. It also offers excellent regulation, a high level of isolation, and improved temperature performance, which makes it well suited for use in high-end applications.The ISL8002EVAL1Z contains a wide range of protection features, including precision current, voltage, differential, thermal, and current foldback protection. These protect the module from potentially damaging conditions, and improve the reliability and performance of the system.
