ISL83082EIBZ is a single Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) transceiver that is designed to meet the requirements of the low power, low speed serial interconnects. This transceiver is designed to be used in a wide range of applications from high-speed communication protocol (HSP) to multi-layer, high-speed protocol (MLHSP).

The ISL83082EIBZ is especially suitable for applications where high-speed data transmission and low-power consumption are critical. The transceiver operates from a single supply voltage of 2.5 V to 3.3 V and has low power consumption of 2.2 mW. The transceiver provides differential data transmission up to 6.4 Gbps in full-duplex mode and is also capable of operating in half-duplex mode at 1.6 Gbps. The ISL83082EIBZ features an integrated low-current receiver and transmitter power management circuitry, current-mode logic-based control lines and programmable receiver clamping levels.

In addition to a wide selection of data rates, the ISL83082EIBZ supports various LVDS control paths such as LVDS compensation (CMPO), wake-up signal (WUS) and hot idle control (HIC). The CMPO signal is used to improve the receiver’s signal integrity and the WUS signal is used to reduce power consumption. The HIC signal is used to reduce the power consumed by the transceiver during hot idle states when the data is not actively transmitted.
