ISL85412DEMO1Z

The ISL85412DEMO1Z is a turnkey, Evaluations Boards - DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS system designed specifically for evaluating the ISL85412 pulse width modulation controller. It provides the user with all the needed components to operate the device in a typical application, including the necessary current sense resistor values, gate driver and MOSFETs for building power converters for AC-DC and DC-DC applications. The fully tested system makes it easier to evaluate the performance of the ISL85412, reduce design time and try variations of various design options.

The ISL85412DEMO1Z uses an internal calibration feature which calculates an accurate current detection threshold. This helps to reduce thermal variations, ensure accurate-on time transition and prevent false power cycling. The system also supplies up to eight user-programmable low side gate driver outputs and receivers which helps to quickly and easily configure the gate drive for various applications. The system can also offer multiple feedback options to optimize design efficiency. Moreover, the system is designed with an internal circuit checker and protection monitor which helps identify any potential issues with the power converter.
