The device is available in an 8-pin TDFN package and is specified over the operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.The ISL9011IRKNZ has a wide range of output voltage ranges which are controlled via an external resistive voltage divider. Its low dropout voltage of 0.3V reduces power consumption and its low quiescent current requirements make it ideal for low-power consumption applications.The ISL9011IRKNZ operates in three modes of operation, depending on the negative voltage applied to the EN pin: High-Side Regulation (HSR), Low-Side Regulation (LSR) and 3-Terminal Linear Regulation (TLR). In HSR mode, the device will regulate the output voltage in a range of 1.28V to 5.5V. In LSR mode, the device will regulate the output voltage from 2.5V to 9V. In TLR mode, the output voltage is adjustable from 1.28V to 9V and the device is capable of providing up to 10mA of output current.The ISL9011IRKNZ is designed for use in high-current applications and its built-in shut-down functionality ensures that the device will automatically shut off when the output voltage reaches its upper or lower limit.
