ISL9012IRJCZ-T is a programmable linear voltage regulator which is implemented with Extended Tap CMOS (ET-CMOS) technology to provide high accuracy output voltage regulation.The device is designed for low voltage and medium current applications, and is available in 6- lead small DFN 3x2mm and SOT23 packages, making it suitable for highly portable and battery powered applications.

Working Principle:

The ISL9012IRJCZ-T is a programmable linear voltage regulator. It can be used to regulate the output voltage of an input voltage source to a desired voltage value. It functions by providing constant current to the output whenever the output voltage drops below the programmed value. In other words, it will provide a constant current source, regardless of the output impedance or input voltage fluctuation. This constant current source will be stopped when the output voltage exceeds the programmed value. The programmed output voltage can be adjusted by changing the value of an external resistor.
