Working Principle

The ISL9012IRJMZ is a Linear Voltage Regulator designed to provide the lowest possible electrical noise when working in its operating range. Its high power density and fast transient response make it ideal for many applications. Its maximum output current can be programmed by connecting an external resistor to the TN pin, which is used to control the current.The linear voltage regulator works on the principle of two physics laws of electron motion, namely voltage divider and current divider.
