Complex programmable logic devices (CPLDs) are a class of logic devices that many designers & engineers are turning to as a cost-effective way of replacing older, larger and more power-hungry components. The ISPLSI 5256VE-125LT128 is a CPLD from ISP Logic Solutions Inc. (ISPLSI) that is designed for a wide range of embedded applications. The ISPLSI 5256VE-125LT128 is a 5V-powered device with 128 macrocells. It features EEPROM and RAM memories; configurable address decode logic for interfacing the memories; two synchronous clocks; twelve three-state output pins; and 512 bits of user logic fuse register.
