The working frequency is adjustable from 200 kHz to 600 kHz.

When the output voltage decreases the ITX0512SA boosts the input voltage to maintain the output voltage. Similarly, when the output voltage increases the ITX0512SA buck the input voltage to maintain the output voltage. This input voltage buck-boost control allows the ITX0512SA to operate over a wide variety of DC input voltage ranges. The complete device is highly integrated and ready to use, and no external components are required.

The ITX0512SA comes with a built-in thermal protection with overtemperature shutdown. The device also has overvoltage, undervoltage, and open/short circuit protection. The built-in open/short circuit protection makes the device suitable for high-power applications.
