JF01PC Application Field and Working Principle

The JF01PC series is a range of cost-effective, low power consumption, compact panel indicators that are suitable for a wide range of signal indication and status monitoring applications. Made of a highly visible illuminated Eurostyle body, the JF01PC series has an integral wire guard and long life LED rated for 25,000 hours of operation. The JF01PC series is also RoHS and cULus approved, and IP67 dust and water protection.

The JF01PC series includes two models: a red 3mm LED with a red lens that covers a 12.8mm mounting hole and a single 24Vdc quick connect terminal; and a yellow 3mm LED with an amber lens that covers a 12.5mm mounting hole and a single 240Vac quick connect terminal. Both models are available in four different coloured lenses, and feature a voltage range of 10 to 240 volts, making them compatible with many different signal indications.

Each of the JF01PC series indicators comes with a mounting bracket for easy installation. With a limit of 10mA, the JF01PC series is externally powered and must be wired directly to the source power supply. The external power supply is not included with the JF01PC series and must be purchased separately.

Working Principle

The JF01PC series indicators feature a working principle based on two-electron tunneling (TET). This process is based on a single sample of a semiconductor.By indicating the presence of an electric field in the sample, the TET tunneling can be observed as electric current flowing across the sample. When a current passes through one of the contacts, a voltage is applied to the other contact and a signal is generated to indicate the presence of the voltage. The LED indicator then illuminates when the voltage is detected, providing an indication of the presence of the signal.

The JF01PC series operates in a similar manner, however, the LED does not light up unless a voltage is present. When a voltage is supplied to the JF01PC series. The LED will illuminate, providing a visual indication of the presence of the particular signal.
