It has a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and can output a voltage up to 15V. It also supports integrated current and voltage setting and has a high efficiency up to 93%. Its output current ranges up to 6A allow it to power a variety of low-power circuits. With the help of multi-functional switches, the output voltage can also be adjusted to various different levels.The working principle of the JHL0624S15 can be divided into two parts. The first part is the power conversion. A voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) is used to modulate the pulsewidth of a PWM control unit, which in turn drives a switching transistor at a certain frequency. The output voltage is further regulated by a feedback control loop that adjusts the switching times to hold the output voltage at the desired level.The second part of the JHL0624S15 is the current limiting. This is done by using a current limiting circuit which monitors the current flow in the converter. The current limit is determined by an adjustable resistor. When the current reaches the limit, an open-drain output will pull high to indicate a fault to the rest of the circuit.
