Electric Double Layer Capacitors (EDLC)
Electric Double Layer Capacitors (EDLCs), also known as supercapacitors, are electrochemical capacitors that usually have a much higher capacitance than standard capacitors. They are composed of two electrodes, one of which is a positively charged electrode, and the other is a negatively charged electrode. The electrodes are connected by an electrolyte and a conductive separator, which is typically a porous material. When a voltage is applied across the electrodes, an electric field is created, which causes ions in the electrolyte to move to the electrode of opposite charge, forming a layer of electrochemically stored charge. This layer of charge is responsible for the capacitance of the device, and it is also the reason why EDLCs are able to store much more energy than traditional capacitors.JUMT1475MHD Application Field and Working Principle

The working principle of JUMT1475MHD is based on the charging and discharging of the two electrodes. When a voltage is applied between the two electrodes, a current will flow across the electrolyte, and the ions in the electrolyte will migrate towards the electrode of the opposite charge. This forms a double layer of charge, which is responsible for the capacitance of the device. As the current flows through the device, charge is stored in the double layer of charge.
