It is IP67 rated for harsh environment and also has a latching pushbutton switch feature. This latching switches have an accurate and reliable operation, as well as excellent tactile feedback.The KB16SKW01-5C24-JC has a brass or stainless steel body construction with a zinc alloy die-cast button. The switch is rated to 2A at 250VAC and is UL, CSA and VDE approved. The contact materials are silver nickel with gold plated terminals.The working principle of the KB16SKW01-5C24-JC is very simple. When the button is pushed, the electrical contact is made, closing the circuit and activating the application it’s connected to. Releasing the button, cuts power to the load. This switch can be used in applications such as marine lighting, navigation lights, emergency lights or off-road emergency signaling.
