KLDR02.5T application field and working principle

KLDR02.5T fuses are specially designed for high intensity high voltage appliance. They are the best protection devices used in various industrial control circuits, such as AC drives, DC drives, ships, aviation, photovoltaic systems, high-altitude operations and other high-voltage electrical equipment. KLDR02.5T fuses have good overload and short circuit protection performance.

KLDR02.5T fuses consist of four major components – the fuse element, the tin-plated copper shell, an insulating shield and a moving contact. The fuse element is made of heat-resistant material with an oscillating temperature characteristic and a Joule heat tungsten vaporizing element. When the current value in the circuit exceeds the rated current of the fuse, the heat dissipation of the Joule heat tungsten vaporizing element increases with the increase of current intensity, when it reaches a certain temperature, the tungsten vapourizing element will instantaneously vaporize, and then cut off the current in the circuit, thus achieving the thermal protection of the device.

The silver-plated beryllium cooper shell transports the current in the circuit to the fuse element. The insulating shield is used for safe insulation and the moving contact controls the output signal of the fault current in the device.

KLDR02.5T fuses are widely used in industrial control systems to protect motors, transformers, contracts and relays. KLDR02.5T fuse has good overload and short circuit protection performance, high breaking capacity, low voltage drop and fast and accurate action. It is usually used in power distribution systems, photovoltaic control systems, motor drive control systems, semiconductor products and other industrial fields.
