The KSZ8721B-EVAL is one such board, and is capable of providing evaluation, and demonstration of several types of system designs from automotive to industrial, and more. The board is equipped with a comprehensive set of peripheral devices, a programmable chip, and memory chips for the tests and evaluations.

The KSZ8721B-EVAL is an evaluation board equipped with external memory and multiple external chips, and built according to the Microchip KSZ8721B Family Reference Design. The KSZ8721B family of devices are low-power, high-performance open-drain Ethernet physical-layer (PHY) transceivers. The board offers multiple power-saving transceiver modes, and integrated core logic for development.

The KSZ8721B-EVAL board has several features commonly found in evaluation and demonstration boards and kits.
