It supports full flow control operation, frame resizing, controller-level mechanism for Time-Domain Reflectometry (TDR), and jumbo frames up to 1526 bytes long. The controller boasts a simplified SPI/I2C interface and a range of optional features, such as IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control and Auto-negotiation.
