Thyristors - SCRs - Modules
Thyristors are a three-terminal semiconductor devices that control the flow of current using both Positive and Negative gate commands. They are often used to switch capacitive and inductive loads, and are able to work in Switch Mode, Zero Voltage Transition (ZVT) and Instantaneous Current Transition (ITC) modes.
The L512 is a MOSFET-based thyristor module. It is a 6 pin module, with the pins being an Anode, a Gate, a Cathode and three auxiliary pins for balancing power, allowing for low filtering, high current operation.
