The L6360TR is a low-power, integrated transceiver device that is capable of operating in various protocols in the 2.45GHz ISM band. It integrates Bluetooth Low Energy, ZigBee, and IEEE 802.15.4 protocols in a single chip, enabling wireless communication over long-distance up to 1000m, depending on the environment.The device provides both transmitter and receiver functions within its single chip. The transmitter has three independent operating modes, namely continuous wave (CW), FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum), and WBR (Wideband Receiver). Using these, the device is able to transmit over multiple channels and spread the output to a wider range.The receiver has two operating modes, namely narrow-band (NB) and wide-band (WB). These modes allow the receiver to tune in to different frequencies, depending on the data being received. The wide-band operating mode is particularly useful in applications such as home and office automation, enabling long-range communication. The L6360TR is equipped with Low-Power Listening (LPL) and Wake-Up Manager, which are two proprietary solutions providing further power saving and operational stability for the device. Low-Power Listening (LPL) is a technology that enables low-power operation of the device and allowing it to listen for brief periods at a time.The Wake-Up Manager allows the device to switch from low-power listening to full operation without the need for any external devices or manual intervention.
