LA5724M-TE-L-E is a DC/DC switching regulator of the LA57xx series. It is optimized for applications requiring step down or step up DC/DC regulation with fast transient response and overload protection in cell phones and other portable applications. The device supports input voltage up to 16 V and offers current limitation for overload protection.

The LA5724M-TE-L-E is a fixed-frequency current mode controlled buck-boost switching regulator. When the input voltage is higher than the output voltage, it operates in the buck mode, and when the output voltage is higher than the input voltage, the device operates in the boost mode. The device operates in pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode at light load and pulse-width modulation (PWM) mode at heavy load to maximize efficiency.
