Being permanently invested in the research of Printed Circuit Board (PCB), Intersil Corporation has designed the LB11697V-W-AH integrated circuit (IC), a precious chip produced with the aim to facilitate the board designers when creating digital power systems dedicated to automotive application areas. Both the concentration of the current and the regulation of it are managed by an oscillator that is able to accurately adjust the voltage of the FETs and the voltage regulators, providing a smooth regulation of the current within the board.
The actual control system of LB11697V-W-AH is optimized for low-speed, low-power motor control applications. The IC helps to optimize, in real-time, the current by monitoring the power demands and loads, switching modes if necessary. Moreover, it can offer up to 8 different current ranges in order to match load requirements.
The operating temperature range of LB11697V-W-AH is very wide, covering -40°C to +120°C, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
