The series is composed of low-profile, reliable MA connectors, accessories and contacts. These connectors are designed to achieve maximum wire-to-wire and wire-to-board connections, as well as reliable, cost effective assembly. This terminal family is suitable for a wide range of applications including telecommunications, audio and video, data communications and instrumentation.

The LCAS8-10-L connectors feature a low profile design that is compact enough for confined spaces and is suitable for board-to-board and wire-to-board applications. The connectors are designed with an insulating shell, contact holders and cover. The insulating shell attributes a stronger resistance to temperature. This portfolio of terminal connectors provide excellent contact retention and secure termination of stripped and untinned wires. It also facilitates quick and easy assembly with pushing connection.

The contact holders are designed with a zinc-diecast housing and three-point contact system to ensure a reliable electrical connection. The contacts are available in two levels enabling connection of both single-level and two-level configurations. The contacts are constructed from high intensity phosphor bronze and polymer shell. This combination of materials provides excellent electrical properties, reliable contact performance and a high level of mechanical stability.

The cover of the LCAS8-10-L connectors is made from black thermoplastic material which provides a strong resistance to corrosion, shock and vibration.
