The LDC1312EVM is a cost-effective, highly integrated solution for sensing and detecting motion. It is a evaluation module by Texas Instruments containing its high-performance LDC1312 three axis MEMS digital output motion sensor. The LDC1312EVM is designed for single- or multiple-axis motion detection and measures only 3.2mm x 4.5mm x 0.9mm. It consists of a very low power source module that uses either a 3v single supply voltage or a 5V dual-supply voltage, making it ideal for use in battery-powered applications. It also features an innovative power-down mode and an advanced architecture that ensures minimum power consumption while still providing powerful and highly accurate motion processing functionality.
The LDC1312EVM provides a wide range of motion detection capabilities, such as tilt and orientation sensing, and low-power gyroscopic motion sensing applications. It is based on the latest MEMS technology and it combines a digital output pressure sensor, a low comparable g-range acceleration sensor, and an ultra-low power low-noise gyroscope. Furthermore, the LDC1312EVM also has an on-board temperature sensor.
