Working Principle of the LE9642PQC

The LE9642PQC works on the open–collector principle to enable reliable data transfer between devices over long distances. This interface works by using a transmitter device to control an interface switch connected to a receiver. The switch can be opened or closed depending on the logic signal sent by the transmitter.

When the logic signal sent by the transmitter is 0 (zero), the interface switch will close, thus allowing for a direct connection between the transmitter and receiver. When the signal is a 1 (one), the interface switch will open, thus preventing the signal from being transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver. Through this mechanism, data can be accurately and reliably transmitted over long distances.

In addition, the LE9642PQC also provides several power-saving features.
