1. Description
The LEA-M8T-0-10 concurrent GNSS module can provide high integrity and precise timing in demanding applications around the world. In addition to GPS, it also supports Beidou, GLONASS and Galileo constellations to meet national requirements. Enhanced sensitivity and simultaneous constellation reception capabilities extend coverage and integrity to challenging signal environments. Measurement and fixed position navigation can reduce timing jitter even when the signal level is low, and can maintain synchronization when only one satellite is observed. Support for on/off low duty cycle operation reduces the power consumption of battery-powered applications. u-blox timing products include timing integrity measurement with receiver autonomous integrity monitoring (RAIM) and continuous phase uncertainty estimation. They have high dynamic range radios that reduce analog and digital interference and support applications in wireless communication devices. The advanced RF architecture and interference suppression function ensure the best performance even in the harsh environment of GNSS. LEA-M8T contains a SAW filter and antenna power monitor, which is very suitable for use with active antennas or antenna signal distribution systems. NEO-M8T includes an additional LNA that can improve performance when directly connected to a passive antenna, and supports external antenna power management when needed. Both modules contain flash memory for field upgrades. UART, SPI and DDC (compatible with I2C) interfaces provide connectivity and synergy with most u-blox cellular modules. The M8T timing module is provided in u-blox's established LEA and NEO form factors and standard pin assignments, Thus, u-blox AssistNow or industry standard auxiliary data can be used from u-blox timing products. This reduces the first positioning time and provides excellent acquisition sensitivity, even before the first installation, it is impossible to determine the precise location, time or frequency. The u-blox M8 module uses an AEC-Q100 certified GNSS chip, is manufactured in an ISO/TS16949 certified site, and has been fully tested at the system level. The qualification test is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the ISO16750 standard: "Road vehicles-Environmental conditions and testing of electrical and electronic equipment".
