Working Principle

The LEA150F-5-CY is a synchronous AC/DC converter and uses a high-frequency, full-bridge switching topology. This allows the converter to produce high output voltages and efficiencies. The converter uses a switching frequency of up to 200kHz to convert a rectified input voltage to a fixed output voltage at its output terminals. This AC/DC conversion is accomplished by controlling a pass MOSFET switch, which is used to switch the rectified input to the output terminals.The output voltage is controlled by a feedback loop, which senses the output voltage and adjusts the duty cycle of the pass MOSFET switch accordingly.
