Common Mode ChokesCommon mode chokes are typically used in applications requiring suppression of common mode interference from power supply systems. They are also referred to as “noise” filters as they provide noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression. Common mode chokes are typically provided in the form of configurations that coil around the power supply line. The coil should be around 10 times the size of the cable line. Common mode chokes use inductance to suppress noise and electromagnetic interference in power supplies. Inductance is the ability of electrical components to resist changes in current flow and react to changes in current flow.The LF2823NP-393 is a low frequency, non-polarized common mode choke specifically designed to suppress common mode interference on power supplies.
