Working Principle

LI0201A301R-10 ferrite beads consist of two layers of conductive material- an inner core and an outer core- surrounded by an insulating layer of ceramic. The inner core is a mixed-phase material while the outer core is a low-permittivity dielectric material.

The mixed-phase material creates a magnetic field which induces electrical currents in the outer core of the bead. When the frequency of an incoming signal reaches a certain threshold value, a changing magnetic field is created which interacts with the existing field and produces a significant reduction in the signal strength.
